I love my best friend, but sometimes I really struggle to hold back my jealousy. She's just one of life's lucky ones. She's gorgeous, intelligent and got a great job with a huge pay packet as soon as she graduated and has been climbing up the career ladder ever since.

I went to visit her new apartment over the weekend and it is amazing. It's a huge open plan loft apartment over two floors, with loads of light and really expensive furniture. She has one of those massive open plan kitchens with a diner and every possible appliance, including one of those cute Bibo water machines I wish we could have work, let alone at home!

Apparently she's not even paying that much to rent the place, how unfair is that?! I love her dearly, and she thoroughly deserves all the good things that she gets, but I can't help wishing some of her luckiness would rub off on me!
